AI Product Visibility is a Shopify app that scores how ready every product is for AI shopping, shows you what to fix first, and uses AI to write the fixes for you. AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Mode and Perplexity recommend products they can understand: a clear category, a descriptive title and description, and structured attributes like color, material, size or fit. You review every suggestion before anything changes in your store.

Shopify merchants who want their products found and recommended by AI assistants and search engines, especially stores with many products, products imported from suppliers, or catalogs that grew without consistent product data. It works for any product type.

No app can guarantee that, and we aren't partnered with any AI assistant. AI Product Visibility helps AI assistants understand your products by making your categories, descriptions and attributes clear and complete, which is the information they rely on when recommending products.

No. Install the app from the Shopify App Store and it reads your products automatically: no code, no CSV import, no manual setup. The dashboard shows what to fix first, and every number links straight to the products behind it.

Suggestions are written in English for now, so the app works best for stores that sell in English.

Each active product gets a score from 0% to 100%, and your store's score is the average of all active products. It's weighted from three factors: Shopping Intent Coverage (50%) checks how many of the attributes shoppers ask about for the product's category (color, size, fabric, fit…) are answered with structured data; Content Quality (30%) checks the title and description, the SEO title and description, and image alt text; Category (20%) checks that the product has a specific, correct Shopify category.

Below 40% is "Needs attention": AI assistants are unlikely to recommend these products. 40% to 70% is "Fair": understandable, but missing important information. 70% and above is "Good": clear, complete product data.

Yes. The score, the dashboard, product checks and recommendations are free and unlimited on every plan. Only AI product audits are limited by your plan.

The score is calculated from your current product data each time you open the dashboard. Editing, adding or removing products in Shopify, or making them active or inactive, changes it too. The score trend chart marks the days audits were applied.

Active products only. Draft and archived products aren't scored or audited; they're counted again once you make them active.

For every product and for your whole store, the app shows the score you could reach if you applied every suggestion, for example "Your score could reach 72% (now 40%)". Each product also shows how much an audit can add, such as "Up to +30% after audit".

No, but they can stop a product from being recommended, so the dashboard still flags them under "Other issues to fix": a price of 0, out of stock, a compare-at price that isn't higher than the price, and a product type that points to a different kind of product.

One AI review of one product. The AI reads the product's text, images, options, attributes and category, and suggests improvements to the title, description, SEO title and description, image alt text, category, product type, tags and attribute values. Before you start, a free preview shows what the audit will fix and how much the product's score can rise.

No. An audit only prepares suggestions. Nothing is written to your store until you review them and click Apply, and only the suggestions you ticked are written. Discarding an audit changes nothing.

Usually under a minute; products with many images take longer. You can leave the page while it runs: the result waits for you on the dashboard and you're notified when it's ready. Up to 3 audits can run at the same time.

Not yet. You start each audit yourself, one product at a time, with up to 3 running at once. The dashboard's "Best products to audit next" list shows which products will gain the most, so you can start where it matters.

Yes. Each suggestion shows Current vs Suggested with the AI's reason. Tick it to apply, untick it to keep your current value, or edit it first. The description has a rich text editor, and the score preview updates as you go.

Some fixes need information or files only you have, such as product photos, or a fabric the product data never mentions. Prices, stock and variants are also up to you. The audit lists these under "Things to check yourself", with a link to the product in Shopify.

Not in the app yet. Applied changes go live on your store right away. Every change is recorded in Audit History with its old and new value, so to change something back, edit the product in Shopify.

Yes. Audit History lists every audit with its score change and what happened to each suggestion: applied, edited, skipped or failed. The Your Progress page shows your score since you started, the changes applied, and your most improved products.

Yes. Categories and attributes follow Shopify's standard product taxonomy, so they stay consistent with how Shopify and its sales channels classify products. Custom metafields aren't part of the score.

Every feature: the AI Visibility Score for your whole store, product checks, recommendations, review and apply, and audit history, plus 5 AI product audits (one-time). The Free plan is free forever.

Every plan has every feature. Pro ($15/month) gives you 100 AI product audits every month; Advance ($39/month) gives you 300. Both use a more capable AI model for better fixes. Pro includes priority support, and Advance top-priority support with the fastest replies.

One AI review of one product. Applying, editing or skipping suggestions is free. Re-auditing a product uses a new audit, and discarding a finished audit still counts. Audits that fail because of a connection problem, a timeout or the AI service aren't counted.

No. Paid plans get a fresh allowance every billing cycle (every 30 days, on your billing date), and unused audits don't carry over. Free audits are one-time and don't reset, even if you reinstall the app.

Yes, from the app's Plan page or Shopify's plan page. Plans are billed monthly on your regular Shopify bill. Upgrading gives you the new plan's audits right away. If you downgrade, your audit results stay viewable, and on Free you get back any free audits you hadn't used.

The Free plan is your trial: there's no separate trial on paid plans. Plans are monthly only for now. Need more than 300 audits a month? Contact us.

No. The app doesn't add any code to your theme. Scoring and AI audits run on our servers, so there's no impact on your store's page speed or on your customers' shopping experience.

Your store information (such as store name, contact email, currency and Shopify plan) and your product data (titles, descriptions, images, categories, options, variants, tags and attributes). The app can't see your customers, orders or analytics. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Only the data of the product you audit: its text, images, options, attributes, tags and SEO listing. It's sent to our AI provider (Anthropic Claude) only when you start an audit, to prepare the suggestions. Scoring and the dashboard don't use AI.

Only the suggestions you tick and apply: title, description, SEO title and description, image alt text, category, product type, tags and attribute values. The app never adds or deletes products or variants, and never changes prices, inventory or images.

The app's access to your store is removed right away. 48 hours later, Shopify asks us to delete your store's data, and we delete your products, audits, scores and store details. We keep only your store ID and how many free audits you've used, so reinstalling doesn't reset your free audits. See our Privacy Policy for details.
